If you have the new type optimount or R2 Air then the normaal Sennheiser 603 clamp will not fit between the rim and the suspension system. This solves that problem. And for a 8” tom, this is a great way to position the mic better.
Another great advantage is that with this adapter, no matter how far you want the clip towards you, the clip itself will never touch the drumhead.
